If you have never skied before, or are a beginner, please don't feel intimidated. They have beginners' lessons, and there is never a better time to start than early in the season, before it gets too busy.

The MN & WI Snow Lovers meetup group will also be there along with the Sitzmark Ski and Social Club who is sponsoring a Meet & Ski with discounted lift tickets open to the public.

Discounted lift tickets are $33 ( a savings of $12 off the regular lift price).

In order to get the discounted lift tickets, meet at the Madd Jaxx Chalet (East end Adult Chalet) and tell the Sitzmark rep at the table in the bar you are there for the Sitzmark or MSC Meet & Ski event. Discounted lift tickets will be available from the Sitzmark rep from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Madd Jaxx chalet (cash/check only made out to Welch).

There will also be complimentary food served around 1:00 pm at the Adult Chalet and will be available until it's gone. This is a great opportunity to meet and socialize with skiers from other organizations. Meeting times of 11:00 am and 3:00 pm at Madd Jaxx are also set up so you can stop in to see who's around and not have to ski alone.

If you will need to rent equipment, please get it at the main chalet area and then come to Madd Jaxx (East Chalet) to get your discount lift ticket.
